Transport Driver

## Description The Kearney Companies is a Site & Utilities Contractor based in Riverview, FL. This role supports our asphalt operations by hauling heavy equipment and performing hands-on construction labor on active job sites. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Class A CDL, have experience transporting equipment, and be willing to work directly with the asphalt crew in a fast-paced field environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport and move asphalt equipment including pavers, rollers, brooms, tack tractors, skid steers to and from job sites.

- Load and unload equipment efficiently and securely.

- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any issues.

- Coordinate equipment movement to support daily asphalt operations.

- Willingness to work Monday through Saturday as required.

- Assist with asphalt paving operations, including setup, material handling, raking, shoveling, and supporting the paving crew during daily production.

- Help place, spread, and level asphalt under the direction of the foreman and paving crew.

Schedule Monday - Saturday Pay Competitive  pay, commensurate with experience.

- Valid Class A CDL required.

- Minimum 3 years of experience hauling heavy equipment preferred.

- Ability to safely load and unload construction equipment.

- Prior experience in asphalt paving or road construction strongly preferred.

- Physically able to perform demanding labor, including lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in hot conditions.

- Knowledge of basic construction tools, equipment, and safety procedures.

- Reliable transportation to and from work.

- Strong work ethic, dependability, and ability to work as part of a team.

- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed, including Saturdays.
