Middle School Math and Science

Position is a full‑time role for a highly motivated educator to join the faculty phen Catholic School. The ideal candidate will have a background in math education and a passion for a cross‑curricular, faith‑filled educational program. This position may also include instruction in science and religion; candidates must be Catholic to teach religion.

• Professional certification (or eligibility for certification) in middle‑to‑secondary math or science.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with an emphasis in math.
• Knowledge of 21st‑century learning concepts.
• Deep knowledge of content standards, instructional strategies, and assessment‑driven instruction.
• Strong proficiency with Google Apps for Education (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Sites, etc.).
• Highly effective communication, listening, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

• Understand and support St. Stephen Catholic School’s mission and philosophy and promote a positive image of the school.
• Contribute to a harmonious school atmosphere by working cooperatively with all colleagues.
• Respect confidentiality of private information regarding students, colleagues, and school operations.
• Demonstrate responsibility and punctuality.
• Display flexibility, a positive attitude, and a helpful, non‑judgmental demeanor.
• Show willingness to consider and implement suggestions for improvement.
• Model the good character traits that St. Stephen Catholic School students are expected to embody.
