$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
$1,000 Hiring Bonus ($500 paid at 45 days and $500 paid at 90 days. Must remain employed in good standing and meet attendance expectations.)
Responsibilities- Lead a classroom of preschool-aged children (Ages 3 to 5 years)
- Teach Preschool with a co-teacher
- Implement The Learning Experience's proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum®
- Create engaging, hands‑on learning experiences
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and coworkers
- Communicate daily with families regarding their child's growth and development
- Complete lesson plans, classroom documentation, and assessments
- Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment
- Coach and support assistant teachers and support staff
- Support centre events, family engagement activities, and enrollment initiatives
- Ensure compliance with Florida licensing, health and safety, and supervision requirements
- Enjoy interacting with children and being actively engaged throughout the day
- Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and strong attendance
- Value teamwork, communication, and accountability
- Can implement curriculum independently
- Are passionate about early childhood education and school readiness
- Want opportunities for professional growth and advancement
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Meet Florida DCF Teacher qualifications
- Formal education, CDA, Staff Credential, or other early childhood coursework, or related experience required
- Experience in a licensed childcare centre, preschool, or Early Learning environment required
- CPR/First Aid Certification required
- Ability to lift, carry 50 lbs, and actively engage with children throughout the day to include sitting on the floor
