Target Total Annual Compensation: $48,000 – $66,000+ (Base Pay + County Referendum)
Compensation & Salary BreakdownWe believe in full transparency regarding teacher pay. Total annual earnings are composed of a standard base salary combined with voter-approved county referendum funds:
Base Salary Range: $47,500 – $54,000 (Based on verified years of teaching experience) + Masters Supplement
County Referendum Pay Supplement: $500 – $12,000+ annually (Paid bi-weekly on regular payroll via county voter-approved ad-valorem tax millage)
Note on Referendum Pay:
Referendum pay supplements are passed through directly to charter school teachers based on county property tax allocations and verified years of full-time teaching experience.
We are seeking a dedicated, passionate 4th Grade Ela Teacher to join our elementary team for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will foster a literacy-rich classroom environment that builds strong reading comprehension, writing fluency, critical thinking, and a lifelong love for reading using state standards and benchmark-aligned curricula.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstructional Delivery:
Plan, internalize, and deliver engaging, standards-based Ela lessons aligned with Florida's Best Ela standards.Data-Driven Instruction:
Analyze formal and informal student assessment data (including Fast Pm benchmarks) to differentiate instruction, run small guided reading groups, and provide targeted interventions.Classroom Management:
Uphold a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom culture that supports academic achievement and social-emotional growth.Parent & Community Communication:
Maintain active, weekly communication with parents and guardians regarding student academic progress and reading growth.Professional
Collaboration:
Participate actively in weekly grade-level team meetings, professional development workshops, and school community events.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (Required).Certification:
Valid Florida Educator Certificate or Temporary Certificate in Elementary Education (K–6) or English (5–9) with Reading Endorsement/Coverage (Preferred).Clearance:
Successful completion of a Florida Level 2 background screening.Experience:
Prior K–12 instructional experience and familiarity with Fast Ela testing benchmarks preferred.
