Role OverviewThis position is for a Process Engineer who will lead cross‑functional engineering projects from concept through to validation and implementation. The role focuses on developing, optimizing, and sustaining manufacturing, service, and repair processes. The successful candidate will manage project timelines, coordinate resources, and mitigate risks to meet operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Perform research and analyses to develop design options for components, products, systems, and processes.
- Lead cross‑functional engineering projects, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, and business requirements.
- Develop project timelines, coordinate resources, and manage risks to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
- Support capital projects for process improvements, capacity expansions, and new product development.
- Work independently and report to leadership as requested.
- Education:
A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience, is preferred; previous experience with validation is also required. - Experience:
A preferred 4-8 years of relevant experience. Demonstrated experience leading cross‑functional projects is required, along with experience in new product introduction.
- Project management experience.
- Lean Six‑Sigma, operational excellence, or continuous improvement (Kaizen) training.
- Experience with Quality Management Systems.
- Experience in Medical Device Manufacturing, Reprocessing, or Distribution.
The pay rate for this position is between $40 and $45 an hour.
