Controller, Finance & Banking, Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Management:
  Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Budgeting & Forecasting:
  Lead the annual budgeting process and provide regular variance analysis to keep the company on track.
• Internal Controls:
  Design, implement, and maintain a robust system of internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data accuracy.
• Treasury & Cash Flow:
  Manage cash flow forecasting, debt management, and banking relationships to optimize liquidity.
• Compliance & Tax:
  Coordinate all audit activities and ensure timely filing of local, state, and federal taxes.
• Team Leadership:
  Mentor and manage the accounting team (AP, AR, Payroll), fostering a culture of professional growth and precision.
• Process Improvement:
  Identify and implement efficiencies in the accounting tech stack (ERP, automated expense management, etc.).

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience:
  
  7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a management or senior-level role.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with mid‑to‑enterprise level ERP systems.
• Soft Skills:
  
  Exceptional communication skills and the ability to lead a team.
