Across the Tampa Bay Area. FOI has PTA opportunities in sports medicine, orthopaedic rehab, and general outpatient therapy with clinic locations including Riverview, Brandon, Citrus Park, Cypress, Pinellas County, New Port Richey, North Tampa, South Tampa, Lakeland, and Sun City Center.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you’ll play a key role in outpatient therapy, sports medicine, and physical rehabilitation. Working under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, you’ll help patients recover from orthopaedic injuries, post-surgical procedures, and musculoskeletal conditions.
Day-to-day Responsibilities- Providing individualized patient treatments as outlined in the Physical Therapist’s plan of care
- Documenting each visit with treatment notes, progress updates, and patient assessments
- Instructing patients in exercise programs, proper body mechanics, and safe use of assistive devices
- Guiding patients through gait training and mobility exercises
- Communicating patient status changes promptly to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Serving as a clinical instructor and mentor for PTA students
- Supporting the therapy team and clinic operations as needed

Required Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Active Florida PTA license
- Current CPR certification
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and motivated to help people achieve their rehab goals
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Outpatient orthopaedic or sports medicine therapy experience
- Familiarity with WebPT or other EMR systems
