Job DescriptionProcesses applications, appointments, and re-credentialing for medical staff and health professionals. Maintains and updates records to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborates with various departments to facilitate smooth onboarding and credentialing procedures. Provides administrative support to enhance the overall effectiveness of medical staff services. Handles billing, collection, and deposit of medical staff dues. Schedules, coordinates, and attends department and committee meetings, conferences, and special events.
Communicates with internal and external customers regarding credentialing activities and department operations. Ensures data integrity and maintains accurate documentation for analysis, data retrieval, and troubleshooting of systems and databases. Maintains current credential files on all employed and contracted physicians. Develops, updates, and maintains a matrix of physician participation and enrollment with contracted payers. Notifies contracted payers of any physician changes or other pertinent information.
Provides support for continuous performance and quality improvement initiatives. Other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of clinical/medical terminology
- Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite and credentialing database management

Physical Requirements -
Pay Range$19.76 - $36.75
