Position SummaryWe are looking for a growth-minded Physical Therapist with a passion and background for outpatient rehab, orthopedics, and patient care. This role provides the opportunity to work as part of an excellent team of therapists that prioritize quality care, continued learning, and teamwork. New grads and experienced PTs are welcomed.

- Evaluate patients and gather data from the patient, physician, interdisciplinary team meetings (if available), family, and other data sources.
- Develop treatment plans that integrate with the continuum of care, set specific goals, and treat patients accordingly.
- Demonstrate competency in the use, care, and maintenance of profession‑specific equipment, observing safety precautions and providing verbal explanations.
- Show knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care for the age of patients served within the assigned caseload.
- Re‑evaluate and modify treatment plans and goals when appropriate.
- Apply principles of growth and development across the lifespan.
- Interpret patient status data to identify age‑specific needs.
- Provide care in alignment with unit/area/department policies and procedures.
- Communicate and recognize when patients have received optimal benefit from therapy.
- Adhere to State Practice Act and Standards of Practice.
- Ensure complete documentation and accurate billing.
- Provide patient/family education as indicated.
- Maintain punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies and applicable federal, state, and local standards.
- Maintain compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an approved program in physical therapy.
Licensure & Certification- Maintain a current Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida; a temporary permit is acceptable.
- Maintain a current Basic Life Support/Health Care Provider certification.
