CNA​/Home Health Aide

Overview

Parx Home Care is looking for a Home Health Aide to join our team. The Home Health Aide will provide personalized care and support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes.

• Assist individuals with daily needs, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Remind individuals to take their medication and assist with administering it
• Keep track of vital signs and promptly communicate any changes to the healthcare team
• Perform light household tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals that meet specific dietary requirements
• Engage in meaningful and compassionate conversations with clients
• Offer emotional support and companionship to clients and their families

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved training program for Home Health Aides
• A valid Home Health Aide certification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Home Health Aide
• Excellent communication and empathy skills with clients and their families
• Ability to safely lift and move clients using proper body mechanics
• Valid driver s license and reliable transportation
• Current CPR certification
