Pharmacy Technician , under the immediate oversight of the Pharmacist, responsibilities include:
- Support the mission of the hospital and pharmacy department
- Efficient, accurate and timely preparation, compounding, labeling, and delivering of pharmaceuticals to assure customer satisfaction
- Required Registration:
Florida Department of Health Pharmacy Technician Registry or enrolled into a Bay Care hospital with a Florida Board of Pharmacy Licensed Training Program for the Employer Based Registered Pharmacy Technician Training Program - Preferred experience is 1-year Institutional practice or equivalent as determined by the hiring manager.
- Required specific skills may also include successfully passing Pharmaceutical Calculations exam.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Graduate or Equivalent GED
- Required FL Registered Pharmacy Technician License
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year Pharmacy Technician experience
