Production Supervisor

The Mosaic Company is a leading integrated producer of concentrated phosphate and potash.

Location:

Riverview, Florida (8813 S US Hwy 41 Riverview, FL 33578)

Schedule:

12‑hour shifts, a four‑week rotation with 14 days worked per month and 7 consecutive days off every four weeks; rotations include day and night shifts.

• Maintain safe and environmentally sound operating conditions within equipment design parameters.
• Lead, schedule, coach, train, and develop hourly employees as needed (including safety and environmental).
• Facilitate ongoing communication between hourly employees and management to ensure proper and efficient rail operation, product quality, allocation of resources, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Work with operations and maintenance to troubleshoot and address problems in the plant to maximize product and raw material flow and safety.
• Assist in implementation of process improvements or capital projects.
• Conduct audits and inspections.
• Review and authorize work permits.

• High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of relevant experience, or 2‑year technical program with 2+ years of experience required.
• Technical or Engineering Bachelor’s degree with at least 1+ year of relevant experience preferred.
• Step‑up, leadership, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Industrial, chemical, and/or supervisory experience a plus.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Maximo, PI, OIS, Kronos is a plus.
• Effective leadership with positive influence on hourly workforce.
• Strong motivational, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills in a fast‑paced environment.
