Job Description:

* Up to $10K Sign on Bonus (if eligible)

* Manages assigned direct reports including recruitment, hiring, coaching, disciplinary actions, development, education, competencies, performance evaluations, and payroll functions.

* Demonstrating critical thinking skills, creativity, and resource management to achieve quality performance and positive employee relations.

* Fostering a culture of psychological safety, where team members feel supported, valued, and empowered to speak up, share concerns, and contribute meaningfully. Promotes evidence-based practice, ensuring quality outcomes, and fostering a culture of safety, compassion, and continuous learning.

* Provides ongoing education and training to nursing staff to maintain high competency levels.

* Prepares the unit for audits and surveys, by monitoring and maintaining unit compliance with regulatory standards, accrediting, hospital policies while coordinating staff education to maintain competencies and preparedness.

* Manages nursing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and optimal patient care.

* Conducts regular staff meetings to communicate updates, address concerns and provide guidance.

* Assists in developing, implementing, and evaluating ongoing service programs to ensure quality nursing and patient care.

* Manages budgets and resources efficiently to meet financial and operational goals.

* Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* Thorough understanding of hospital policies, procedures and legal aspects of acute care nursing [Required]

* Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing [Required]

* Basic computer skills, including experience with an Electronic Health Record [Required]

* Five or more years of current clinical experience [Preferred]

* Cerner documentation [Preferred]

Education:

* Associate's of Nursing [Required]

* Bachelor's of Nursing [Required]

Field of Study:

* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

* In Nursing

Work Experience:

* 5+ current clinical [Preferred]

* 5+ hospital experience [Preferred]

Licenses and

Certifications:

* Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]

* Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

* Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]

* Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Required]

* Acute/Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist (CCNS) [Preferred]

* Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) [Preferred]
