Advent Health Medical Group Neonatology at Riverview – Full‑time opportunity for a Neonatal APRN or Neonatal PA‑C

• The APP, under the supervision of physicians, provides care for NICU and newborn patients within the scope of licensure and the supervising physician’s scope of practice.
• Evaluates patients, develops treatment plans, orders and interprets labs, X‑rays, and other diagnostic studies according to specialty guidelines and under the guidance of the neonatologist.
• Performs procedures such as intubation, lumbar puncture, umbilical lines, PICC lines, chest tube placement, and circumcisions.
• Communicates effectively with parents, other specialists, and NICU team members.
• Provides education and support to patients’ families.
• Disburses medications under a collaborative agreement with a supervising physician.

• 24‑hour shifts, restricted or unrestricted.
• Call required 14 days per month.

  Advent Health Riverview.

• Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies with Neonatal Certification (required).
• 1–2 years of experience in the NICU as an RN (highly preferred).
• 1–2 years of experience in the NICU as a Neonatal APRN or Neonatal PA‑C.

• Must hold a valid Florida APRN License with Neonatal certification.
• Certification through ANCC or another nationally recognized certifying body.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.
