Job DescriptionFacilitates compliance with regulations and policies using PI processes. Demonstrates Core Values of Integrity, Compassion, Balance, Excellence, Stewardship, and Teamwork. Demonstrates excellent communication skills, cooperation, teamwork, and cultural sensitivity when interacting with co-workers, physicians, and colleagues. Promotes compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and state and federal regulations through quality management activities. Facilitates organizational compliance with required data reporting through chart reviews and data extraction.
Promotes improved care outcomes and compliance with quality metrics. Explores opportunities for performance improvement through various activities. Uses professional standards of care when evaluating patient care and making recommendations. Applies performance improvement methods, including data analysis and reporting, to clinical programs or projects. Compiles data reports, assists in data analysis, and develops action plans for units, divisions, or teams as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
- Word processing (PC applications) skills, able to prepare reports and simple tables [Required]
- Ability to facilitate teams in a continuous quality improvement environment [Required]
- Associate's of Nursing [Required]
- Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience- 2+ years experience with advanced pc applications preferred (spreadsheet and graphics) [Preferred]
- 2+ years experience with data analysis and interpretation [Preferred]
- 2+ years quality improvement experience [Preferred]
- 2+ years of rn experience in health care [Preferred]
- 2+ years prior work experience as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital [Required]
- Experience with team facilitation in a continuous quality improvement environment [Required]
- Prior experience in quality management and/or utilization/resource management activities such as chart reviews, data extraction, data collation, data analysis [Required]

Licenses And Certifications- Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) [Preferred]
- Healthcare Risk Management Certificate (HRMC) [Preferred]
