Deli Associate

As a Deli Associate, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of deli products. • High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and slicing.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and measuring portions.

• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

• Previous experience working in a deli, food service, or retail environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Familiarity with deli equipment such as slicers and scales.
• Customer service training or experience.
• Bilingual abilities to assist a diverse customer base.

• Prepare and slice deli meats, cheeses, and other products according to customer specifications and company standards.
• Serve customers promptly and courteously, taking orders and answering questions about deli products and specials.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli work area, equipment, and utensils in compliance with health and safety guidelines.
• Stock and rotate deli products to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
• Assist with inventory management by receiving deliveries, checking product quality, and reporting shortages or discrepancies.
