Job Requirements and Duties
As an Assistant Manager, you are responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations. Set the example and follow all policy and procedures 100% of the time.

Job Duties
- Operate all equipment
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler
- Prepare product
- Receive and process telephone orders
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
- Clean equipment and facility daily
- Comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers, process orders both over the phone and in person
- Mathematical operations: add, subtract, multiply, divide, make accurate monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid accurate movements
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Physical Requirements
- Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing outside tasks
- In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F or higher in some work areas
- Sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside
- Fumes from food odors, exposure to cornmeal dust, cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler
- Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher; sharp edges and moving mechanical parts
- Standing: most tasks are performed from a standing position
- Walking: for short distances and short durations
- Lifting: bulk product deliveries, cases up to 50 pounds, stacked up to 72 inches
- Carrying: large cans, pizza sauce, trays of dough up to 12 pounds each
- Pushing: moving trays on dollies, force up to 7.5 pounds
- Climbing: infrequently navigate stairs or ladders to change signs, wash walls, maintain
- Stooping / Bending: forward bending at the pizza assembly station, repeated 30–45 seconds at a time
- Crouching / Squatting: occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas
- Reaching: continuously up, down, and forward
- Hand Tasks: eye–hand coordination, use of forearms and wrists for shaping dough
