This is a full-time, on-site Irrigation Technician role located in Riverview, FL. The Irrigation Technician will install, inspect, and maintain irrigation systems for landscaped areas, including residential and commercial properties. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include adjusting sprinkler heads, repairing leaks and broken lines, programming controllers, and ensuring proper water coverage and system efficiency. The role involves diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues, coordinating with supervisors and clients, and documenting work performed.
The Irrigation Technician will also assist with general landscape maintenance tasks as needed, follow safety procedures, and maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment in good working order.
- Strong Irrigation and Troubleshooting skills, including installation, repair, diagnostics, and system optimization.
- Experience in Landscape Maintenance, with the ability to support lawn care, plant health, and overall site appearance.
- Effective Communication and Supervisory Skills to coordinate with team members, clients, and leadership, and to provide clear updates and instructions.
- Knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical components related to irrigation systems is beneficial.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks such as lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in and around Riverview, FL.
- Previous experience as an irrigation technician or in a similar role preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
