Full-Time Bookkeeper (In-Person Position)
Howe-Peterson Funeral Homes is seeking a Full-Time Bookkeeper to join our team in Dearborn, Michigan.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and takes pride in producing accurate financial records.
Responsibilities may include:
- Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- General ledger entries and account reconciliations
- Payroll processing (or willingness to learn)
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Assisting with month-end closing procedures
- Working in Quick Books and Microsoft Excel
Qualifications:
- Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with Quick Books and Microsoft Excel is preferred
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player
