Job TitleLab Scale Operator
Responsibilities- Conduct laboratory manufacturing following current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) principles.
- Execute ADC manufacturing processes in strict accordance with safety regulations, industry best practices, and company policies.
- Set up appropriately scaled glassware and carry out preparative scale (10mL to 100L or higher) organic chemistry operations, including charging liquids and solids to a vessel, filtration, distillation, drying, and packaging.
- Document observations from experiments in notebooks and complete production‑related documentation.
- Dismantle, clean, and reassemble equipment and maintain detailed documentation.
- Consult with scale‑up team members to resolve chemistry or equipment issues that may arise during production.
- Conduct use tests and additional laboratory experiments as directed by the Production Manager.
- Maintain cleanliness and perform routine maintenance of the work area and equipment.
- Sample production batches and raw materials to support laboratory activities.
- Control the inventory of basic raw materials, consumables, and wastes within the immediate working environment.
- Collaborate on the creation and revision of unit documentation (SOPs, batch records, cleaning documents).
- BS in Chemistry or equivalent.
- 0–2years of experience in process development or production within the pharmaceutical or fine‑chemical industry (highly desired).
- Solid understanding of downstream processing, with academic or internship exposure to chromatography (normal/reverse‑phase) and crystallization (highly desired).
- Understanding of organic chemistry principles and nomenclature.
- Mechanical skills in assembly, use of laboratory equipment and troubleshooting of equipment.
- Independent user of applicable software systems, including Trackwise, SAP, and Master Control.
- Excellent record‑keeping and communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the company.
- Self‑starter who can recognize tasks that need to be completed and adjust schedules to meet commitments.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (cGMP, OSHA, EPA) and general facility practices.
- Must be able to pass a respirator fit test.
