Quality Control Chemist I
Piramal Pharma Solutions’ HPAPI Research and Manufacturing facility (Ash Stevens, LLC), located in Riverview, Michigan, is seeking a qualified Quality Control Chemist I to join our Quality Control team.

Responsibilities- Support manufacturing operations through testing of raw and starting materials to meet production timelines.
- Perform cleaning verifications on multi‑use equipment using approved methods.
- Test reference standards and stability samples, documenting sample preparation, equipment setup, and test results in laboratory notebooks or other appropriate records.
- Verify data with a second quality team member as required.
- Maintain all records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Test intermediates and final products as needed to meet production timelines and client requirements.
- Assist in the revision of documentation and participation in quality unit projects such as supplier certification, method development, method validation, and training of quality unit members.
- Support maintenance and calibration of laboratory analytical instrumentation.
- Perform routine housekeeping in the QC laboratory, keeping personal bench area and desk organized.
- Perform routine testing on the water system (DI, ice, potable, and QC water) and prepare reports as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or an equivalent field.
- One (1) year of experience in pharmaceutical quality control or a related field preferred.
- Familiarity with analytical testing and instrumentation.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills and ability to work independently against multiple deadlines.
