Sr. Manager, Product Management – Token Platform Modernization
Capital One is seeking a senior manager to drive the modernization of our Tokenization platform, enabling payment experiences such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Card‑on‑File. The role focuses on delivering product vision, business value, and improved customer experience while ensuring alignment across teams.
About the TeamThe Tokenization platform provides payment tokens for merchants. In the next phase, we will modernize the platform to support high‑volume, low‑latency requirements.
Responsibilities- Lead execution and development of the product vision for modernization efforts.
- Drive business value and improved customer experience.
- Ensure alignment and manage dependencies across teams within the product family and cross‑functional partners.
- Serve as a servant‑leader and manager of team members.
- Apply deep subject‑matter expertise to identify patterns and solve complex problems.
- Lead cross‑functional teams to solve customer problems and align organizational objectives.
- At least 5 years of product management experience.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field, or an MBA with a quantitative concentration (degree to be obtained on or before start date).
- Experience translating business strategy into consumer‑facing digital products.
- Strong technical and business architecture skills; ability to lead in a cross‑functional environment with a bias for action.
- Proficiency in Human‑Centered design, Business Focus, Technology Driven, Integrated Problem Solving, and Transformational Leadership.
Salary ranges:
- McLean, VA: $200,700 - $229,100
- New York, NY: $219,000 - $249,900
- Riverwoods, IL: $182,500 - $208,300
Eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation (cash bonuses and/or long‑term incentives). Additional comprehensive benefits are available.
