Principal Associate, Process Manager – Global Payment Network
The GPN Portfolio Team is responsible for bridging the gap between product strategic visions and operational execution. Partnering with the Product Areas / Families, we help translate their product roadmaps into realistic, forecasted portfolios that align with business priorities. We provide management, oversight and support to all Product Area members; collaborating across varying levels and roles to enable leadership to see progress, remove blockers and make decisions needed to deliver the most value to the organization.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the business owner to build roadmaps through forecasting grounded in capacity planning, high‑level estimates of work and target dates.
- Harmonize competing priorities into a single, unified and actionable path forward by working with multiple stakeholders.
- Facilitate the intake process for new work entering the portfolio, ensuring the work is aligned to goals and has clearly defined scope and value.
- Adhere to Enterprise & GPN governance during intake, ensuring strong risk management, operational excellence, and transparent decision‑making.
- Provide portfolio metrics, offering actionable insights to drive strategic decision‑making.
- Facilitate the prioritization of the Product Area / Family backlog in adherence to the GPN Portfolio Management standards.
- Maintain excellent communication and partnership skills essential for interacting with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes.
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification.
- At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office or G Suite.
- At least 1 year of process management experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
- Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, or Project Management certification.
- At least 1 year of experience in Compliance or Risk Management.
- At least 2 years of experience in Process Management.
McLean, VA: $108,900 - $124,300 for Principal Process Manager. Riverwoods, IL: $98,900 - $112,900 for Principal Process Manager. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered will be reflected in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance‑based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long‑term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non‑discretionary depending on the plan.
