Director, Client Support
As the Director of Client Support, you will serve as a strategic leader of leaders, driving operational excellence and high‑touch service for our Enterprise Partner Support organization. In this senior executive role, you will champion a client‑facing team that navigates our matrixed business model to support enterprise participants. You will empower and guide a management team dedicated to seamless onboarding, continuous product enablement, and world‑class relationship management for our most strategic global partners.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a core member of the United States & Canadian Markets Operations Leadership Team.
- Lead the Enablement Partner Support team and provide operational support for Discover network participants including issuers, acquirers and processors.
- Deliver operational readiness, improve the operating model and enhance partner support.
- Establish and sustain a well‑managed operating environment and deliver impactful results.
- At least 8 years of experience in client support, account management or relationship management within the payments, fintech or financial services industries.
- At least 5 years of people leadership and performance management experience.
- Experience working within a major payment network.
- 10+ years of experience in client support, account management or relationship management within the payments, fintech or financial services industries.
- 7+ years of people leadership and performance management experience.

CompensationCompensation is location‑based. For McLean, VA, the annual range is $206,000–$235,100. For Chicago, IL and Riverwoods, IL, it is $187,300–$213,700. Salaries for other locations will be offered in the range associated with that location.
This role is also eligible to earn performance‑based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long‑term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non‑discretionary depending on the plan.
