Workday Extend & Integration Developer; Hybrid

Position: Workday Extend & Integration Developer (Hybrid)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Workday Extend and Integration Developer for a hybrid role in Riverwoods, IL.

Key Tasks:

* Lead design and delivery of Workday Extend applications, custom workflows, and user-facing business solutions

* Drive Workday AI initiatives, including Workday Agents, Agent System of Record, Orchestration, data cloud, and intelligent automation

* Build, optimize, and support enterprise Workday integrations using Workday Orchestrate, Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, and APIs

* Partner with HR, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions

* Develop structured and unstructured data pipelines supporting Prism Analytics, AI-driven insights, reporting, and machine learning use cases

* Own integration governance, data quality, monitoring, documentation, compliance, and operational excellence

* Manage timelines, risks, deliverables, and continuous improvement tied to Workday AI, Extend, and integration roadmaps

REQUIREMENTS:

* 6+ years of hands-on Workday integrations experience with Workday Extend development expertise

* Deep knowledge of Workday Orchestrate, Studio, EIBs, PECI, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, XSLT, and packaged integrations

* Prior experience implementing Workday AI/ML capabilities, Workday Agents, ASOR, data pipelines, and intelligent automation frameworks

* Strong understanding of Workday architecture, data model, security framework, and enterprise integration patterns

* Experience with at least two full life cycle Workday integration implementations

* Skilled with Oxygen, Postman, SOAP UI, REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, and event-driven architecture

* Workday Integrations, Studio, or Extend certifications strongly preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
