As a Principal Associate Process Manager supporting Capital One Reliability Engineering, you will help manage and support the resilience testing process. Responsibilities include documenting, monitoring and controlling critical process points as defined by technical requirements, and associated policies and standards. You will educate and gain buy-in from key stakeholders concerning the utilization of process to ensure proper execution each time. You may also lead or engage in critical departmental or cross-functional organizational initiatives and projects.

This role requires effective communication and the ability to influence partners across multiple functional areas and levels of the organization. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic agile environment are essential. The role also requires leadership to drive and motivate others in delivering consistent execution, and the identification, documentation and implementation of process improvement opportunities.

A qualified candidate will have:

• Demonstrated ability to improve processes and deliver well-managed and scalable solutions and intent resulting in flawless and sustainable execution
• Ability to effectively communicate and influence partners across the company and across multiple levels of the organization
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to change quickly
• A solid grasp of process management concepts and Agile experience, working with Risk / Compliance Officers and Auditors
• Strong analytical and technical skills, including experience working with data and automation tools
• The ability to comfortably engage in Technology and Product conversations

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
• At least 3 years of Process or Risk Management experience
• At least 1 year of Continual Improvement experience

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 4+ years of Process Management experience
• 2+ years of Resilience or Disaster Recovery planning
• 2+ years of Testing experience
• 1+ years of Project Management experience
• 1+ years of experience working with Product and Technology teams

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. This salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Chicago, IL: $98,900 – $112,900 for Principal Process Manager

McLean, VA: $108,900 – $124,300 for Principal Process Manager

Riverwoods, IL: $98,900 – $112,900 for Principal Process Manager

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
