Responsibilities

The PTD Lead – Plan-to-Produce is a full-time, on-site role based in Riverwoods, IL. This position oversees end-to-end Plan-to-Produce processes, ensuring that planning, scheduling, and production execution are aligned with organizational goals and system capabilities. The PTD Lead collaborates with cross-functional teams such as supply chain, manufacturing, finance, and IT to analyze requirements, design solutions, and optimize workflows. Responsibilities typically include leading process design workshops, documenting business requirements, configuring and testing related systems, monitoring performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

The role also involves supporting users through training, issue resolution, and best-practice guidance, while contributing to governance and standardization of Plan-to-Produce processes.

Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of Plan-to-Produce or similar end-to-end manufacturing and supply chain processes, with experience leading process design and optimization initiatives.
  • Experience working with ERP or manufacturing execution systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or comparable platforms) focused on production planning and shop floor execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct requirements analysis, produce clear documentation, and translate business needs into practical technical or process solutions.
  • Proven skills in stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and facilitating workshops or meetings with business and technical teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify root causes, and recommend improvements in efficiency, quality, and adherence to standards.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in clear, accessible language to diverse audiences.
  • Comfort working on-site in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and taking ownership of deliverables and timelines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, business, information systems, or a related field; advanced certifications in manufacturing or ERP are an advantage.
  • Prior experience in a lead or senior role within production planning, operations, or process transformation is highly beneficial.
