Full time, on-site in West Palm Beach with growth opportunity as the organization expands.

Job Responsibilities of the Controller:
• Oversee all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage budget processes and financial forecasting
• Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure financial data integrity and compliance with regulations
• Coordinate and lead the annual audit process
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, Cost accounting and local, state and federal regulations
• Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization
• Manage banking and vendor relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash position
• Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism
• Oversee financial systems and software, recommending and implementing upgrades as necessary
• Manage and develop the finance and accounting team
• Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
• Develop and implement finance operational strategies, policies, and procedures
• Work closely with other department heads to align financial objectives with company goals Requirements of Controller:
• Must have Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
• Must have min 5 years of experience in financial management roles in an auto or marine dealership
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software
• Experience with ERP systems and financial modeling
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to translate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels in the organization Competitive salary commensurate with experience, plus profit-sharing bonus
