THE WORK
Cyber Software Engineer for securing development labs and the underwater vehicle product. This covers the electronic hardware and software life-cycle-from initial planning to deployment. This includes system trouble shooting and regression testing.

You are a skilled software engineer with expertise in embedded systems and a strong foundation in information-assurance principles, so that you can apply it towards for autonomous underwater vehicles support. You excel at secure design, implementation, and testing, delivering dependable, hardened, mission-critical capabilities that meet rigorous cyber-security standards.

Basic Qualifications
ship with ability to obtain and maintain DoD TS security clearance. Clearance not required prior to start.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience / combined education
CompTIA Security+ Certification Prior to Start
Experience with Linux operating systems and Microsoft Server, Desktop and security requirements.
Experience with programming or scripting languages (Python, Power Shell, Node.js, or similar)
Experience with information technology and information security practices, including but not limited to: host security, network perimeter security, intrusion detection/prevention, application security, threat modeling, and disaster recovery
Experience interpreting security and information protection policies into executable requirements and technical solutions
Experience with vulnerabilities and exploits
Analytical and Troubleshooting skills demonstrated by related work experience
Successful experience interacting with internal customers and project co-workers
Effective written and oral communication skills
Ability to collaborate as a team player and work independently.
Ability to work full-time onsite
Worked utilizing Docker for container based micro service architectures
Programming Languages Development with C++
Desired skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic and demanding environment.
Knowledge of industry standard Information Assurance tools (Splunk, Ness Tenable/ACAS, STIG Viewer/SCAP Compliance Checker/ eSTIG,
Experience with Cisco Networks, CCNA Certified or CCNP Certified
Red Hat Certified (RHCSA)
Experience working with classified information systems and DISA STIGs.
Knowledge of other security disciplines and how they impact and interact with information system security.
Worked utilizing automated CI/CD pipelines using Git for build and deployment
Ability to conduct offshore testing
