ResponsibilitiesCyber Software Engineer for securing development labs and the underwater vehicle product. This covers the electronic hardware and software life‑cycle—from initial planning to deployment. This includes system trouble shooting and regression testing.

Basic Qualifications- US Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain DoD TS security clearance. Clearance not required prior to start.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience / combined education
- CompTIA Security+ Certification Prior to Start
- Experience with Linux operating systems and Microsoft Server, Desktop and security requirements.
- Experience with programming or scripting languages (Python, Power Shell, Node.js, or similar)
- Experience with information technology and information security practices, including but not limited to: host security, network perimeter security, intrusion detection/prevention, application security, threat modeling, and disaster recovery
- Experience interpreting security and information protection policies into executable requirements and technical solutions
- Experience with vulnerabilities and exploits
- Analytical and Troubleshooting skills demonstrated by related work experience
- Successful experience interacting with internal customers and project co-workers
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to collaborate as a team player and work independently.
- Ability to work full-time onsite
- Worked utilizing Docker for container based micro service architectures
- Programming Languages Development with C++
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic and demanding environment.
- Knowledge of industry standard Information Assurance tools (Splunk, Nessus/Tenable/ACAS, STIG Viewer/SCAP Compliance Checker/ eSTIG,
- Experience with Cisco Networks, CCNA Certified or CCNP Certified
- Red Hat Certified (RHCSA)
- Experience working with classified information systems and DISA STIGs.
- Knowledge of other security disciplines and how they impact and interact with information system security.
- Worked utilizing automated CI/CD pipelines using Git for build and deployment
- Ability to conduct offshore testing
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
