Library Assistant

We are seeking a Library Assistant to join our team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia As a Library Assistant you will be responsible for providing support to the Librarian in managing the library and its resources This is a part-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month

• Assist the Librarian in organizing and maintaining the librarys collection
• Help patrons locate and check out materials
• Answer inquiries from patrons and assist with research requests
• Process new materials and keep records of borrowed items
• Maintain the librarys appearance and ensure shelves are neat and orderly
• Assist in planning and organizing library events and programs
• Keep track of overdue items and follow up with patrons as needed
• Collaborate with other library staff to develop new services for patrons

• High school diploma or equivalent some college coursework preferred
• Previous experience working in a library or customer service setting is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Knowledge of basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
• Fluent in English knowledge of Arabic is a plus but not required
