Job Title: Corporate Development Associate Department: Corporate Development Reports To: Head of Strategy Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Hybrid)
Role SummaryThe Corporate Development Associate plays a critical role in supporting HALA's strategic initiatives. Reporting directly to the Head of Strategy, this position focuses on high-impact analytical work, data assessment, market benchmarking, and providing support across strategy, M&A, and corporate related deliverables.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct market research and benchmarking against key industry players.
- Develop insights from performance data to support strategic planning.
- Maintain dashboards and trackers to monitor strategic KPIs.
- Assist in sourcing, screening, and evaluating investment and acquisition opportunities.
- Perform light financial modeling and develop business cases for internal approval.
- Prepare resentations, strategy updates, and other reports.
- Summarize complex data and deal analysis into digestible insights.
- Maintain internal records and documentation for corporate actions.
- Perform structured and unstructured data analysis to inform decisions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge databases on markets, competitors, and potential targets.
- Translate trends and analytics into actionable business recommendations.
- Partner with teams across finance, operations, product, legal, and strategy.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field
- 2-4 years' experience in an analytical role in a high growth environment such as technology startup/scaleup, strategy consulting, banking.
- Analytical skillsand business case development.
- High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Fluency in English;
Arabic knowledge is preferred
