To lead and develop the company’s procurement strategy, ensuring the sourcing of materials and services at the highest quality and best cost. Responsible for efficiently managing procurement operations, particularly in the events, exhibitions, and occasions sector, to support business objectives, reduce costs, and minimize risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures.
  • Create long‑term procurement strategies aligned with the company’s overall plans.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms (price, quality, and delivery schedule).
  • Build strong relationships with local and international vendors, especially those related to the events sector.
  • Support internal teams organizing events by providing all required materials and services with high quality and on time.
  • Oversee procurement of event‑related needs such as stages, audio systems, lighting, gifts, catering, printing, etc.
  • Lead, guide, and motivate the procurement team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Identify training and development needs of the procurement staff.
  • Prepare the procurement budget in coordination with the finance department.
  • Monitor and control procurement and event‑related costs.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on procurement performance, cost savings, and supplier efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in the events sector.
  • Strong knowledge of the local service and vendor market related to events.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Cost savings percentage (%).
  • On‑time delivery rate (%).
  • Procurement cycle time.
  • Internal stakeholder satisfaction rate.
  • Number of approved and qualified vendors.
  • Quality rate of procured goods and services (defect‑free orders).
  • Budget adherence for procurement and event‑related purchases.
  • Number of events fully supported without delays or shortages.
  • Response time to urgent procurement requests (especially for events).
  • Percentage of contracts renewed or renegotiated with improved terms.
  • Compliance rate with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Vendor performance score (based on quality, reliability, and timeliness).
