Job Summary:

One of our clients is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to manage and optimize the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This role involves strategic planning, supplier management, and adherence to procurement policies to support operational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Forecast demand, plan inventory, and maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Process purchase orders accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with policies.
  • Monitor procurement expenditures and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Conduct market research to identify suppliers, alternative materials, and industry trends.
  • Maintain procurement records and prepare reports on supplier performance and costs.
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, and logistics teams to integrate procurement activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in procurement, supply chain, or related roles.
  • Knowledge of procurement practices, supplier management, contract negotiation, and supply chain principles.
  • Professional certifications (CPM, CSCP) are a plus.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and adapt to changing business needs.
