Job PurposeThe Business Analyst (BA) serves as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions. The primary role is to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring that the needs of all stakeholders are effectively captured. The BA works closely with both business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery, optimizing business processes, and improving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with stakeholders (clients, business users, subject matter experts) to understand and document their needs and expectations.
- Analyze business processes to identify areas for improvement and provide effective solutions.
- Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) that define business problems, opportunities, and solutions, outlining the scope and objectives of the project.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure accurate communication and understanding of requirements.
- Propose business solutions based on the gathered requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Assist in creating test cases and provide support during the validation process to ensure the solution meets business requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest best practices to enhance business efficiency.
- Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to propose innovative solutions.
- Qualifications and
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent. - Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Analysis. - Certification: CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) certification.
- Specialized Knowledge and
Skills: - Strong knowledge of requirement documentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Confluence).
- Experience with business process modeling tools (e.g., Microsoft Visio).
- Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Knowledge of testing tools like HP ALM, Test Rail.
- Previous experience working on projects for government entities in Saudi Arabia
