We are seeking a Senior Director - Procurement to manage and direct procurement strategies that align with our ambitious goals.
In this role, you will oversee all procurement activities across the organization, ensuring comprehensive strategy implementation, supplier management, and contract negotiation. With a focus on operational excellence, your leadership will be instrumental in achieving cost‑effective procurement while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute scalable procurement strategies that align with the overall strategic vision of Qiddiya Investment Company.
- Lead procurement planning and sourcing strategies for large-scale projects, fostering collaboration across multiple departments.
- Identify potential suppliers and assess market conditions to secure superior value and service delivery.
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and partners, ensuring reliable availability of products and services.
- Implement procurement best practices and guidelines that enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
- Direct supplier evaluations and performance metrics, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Manage and mentor procurement teams, fostering professional growth and development while leading by example.
- Monitor procurement activities in alignment with budgetary requirements and organizational policies.
- Provide insightful reports and updates to senior management on procurement strategies, achievements, and challenges.
- Assess procurement risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential disruptions in the supply chain.
- Enhance stakeholder engagement through effective communication and relationship management focused on meeting organizational needs.
- Master's degree in relevant field such as Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of extensive experience in procurement or supply chain management, ideally within large organizations and complex projects.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective procurement strategies in a dynamic business environment.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills with a track record of achieving favorable outcomes.
- Experience leading cross‑functional teams and developing talent within an organization.
- Solid understanding of procurement regulations, policies, and best practices.
- Fluency in English;
Arabic language proficiency is a plus. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Commitment to the principles of sustainability and ethical sourcing.
