Position: Director of Business Development (Recruitment)

NES Fircroft is looking for an ambitious BD Director to join our Riyadh team, focusing on the Saudi market.

In this role, you will shape and lead the commercial growth strategy for NES Fircroft’s contract and managed recruitment solutions within the renewable energy sector. You will drive market penetration, cultivate high-value client partnerships, and unlock new revenue streams across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute forward‑looking business development strategies to accelerate growth within target markets, with a particular emphasis on power and renewables.
  • Build and nurture relationships with senior decision-makers, key contractors, and strategic accounts. Lead high‑level discussions, qualify opportunities, and steer bid strategies, proposals, and tender submissions across regional teams.
  • Champion best‑practice commercial behaviours across recruitment and BD teams.
  • Drive initiatives to secure new clients, unlock new geographies, and cultivate long‑term commercial partnerships that support sustainable business expansion.
  • Partner with recruitment leadership to ensure seamless handover from business development to delivery.
  • Support marketing and event strategies that elevate brand visibility and client engagement.
What We’re Looking For
  • 8+ years in senior business development, sales, or commercial roles, ideally within the recruitment sector ideally in Oil & Gas or Engineering.
  • Solid understanding of the engineering and renewables landscape, with proven experience selling workforce or project‑based recruitment solutions.
  • A demonstrated track record of securing major accounts, closing complex contractual deals, and navigating high‑value negotiations.
  • A natural leader who partners effectively across recruitment, operations, and marketing to achieve shared commercial objectives.
  • Willingness to travel proactively for client meetings, market development, and key industry events.
