We are supporting a leading investment group in the appointment of a Director, Institutional Solutions to lead a high-impact commercial mandate in Saudi Arabia.

This is a senior, front-office role with full ownership of institutional business development. The position requires a commercially driven professional who can engage sophisticated financial stakeholders, understand their priorities quickly, and convert opportunities into tangible commercial outcomes. The role offers strong exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to shape long-term commercial strategy across the group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead institutional business development efforts, building and managing a targeted pipeline of high-value opportunities
  • Engage directly with senior stakeholders across the financial ecosystem, including institutional investors, allocators, and strategic partners
  • Develop a strong understanding of client requirements and shape tailored, commercially compelling propositions
  • Drive opportunities from initial engagement through to negotiation and successful closure
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management, reporting, and follow-through to ensure consistent commercial momentum
  • Collaborate closely with internal leadership to align on strategy, positioning, and execution priorities
  • Provide ongoing market feedback and insights to refine go-to-market strategy and strengthen commercial effectiveness
  • Contribute to broader strategic discussions around growth, partnerships, and market expansion
Candidate Profile
  • 8–15+ years of relevant experience in institutional business development, client coverage, or solutions-led sales
  • Strong commercial track record, with proven ability to originate, develop, and close complex opportunities
  • Background within asset management, private banking, wealth management, investment platforms, or institutional financial services
  • Strong financial acumen and the ability to engage sophisticated financial stakeholders credibly
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels
  • High level of ownership, strong commercial drive, and disciplined execution approach
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
