Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of vendor management, procurement, and contract management policies and procedures.
- Implement the day‑to‑day operations assigned for the JEEL to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.
- Assist the Vendor Management Senior Manager in managing vendor relationships for manpower resources services, including contract negotiation and follow‑ups on rates.
- Serve as a point of contact for vendors, ensuring smooth communication and addressing any issues or queries related to services.
- Track and monitor vendor performance through the different functions in Noon, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement where necessary.
- Maintain and update procurement records, databases, and supplier information accurately to ensure transparency and accessibility.
- Prepare and issue purchase requests and contracts to the Procurement teams and follow up on delivery timelines to meet operational requirements.
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends and competition, sourcing new vendors and cost‑effective options for services.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments such as Noon Minutes, Noon Food and Super‑Mall to ensure alignment of procurement activities with the company’s goals and processes.
- Assist in resolving vendor disputes and discrepancies to maintain a positive relationship with suppliers.
- Support the contract management cycle, ensuring compliance and legality.
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices, taking into account international best practice.
- Improve business processes, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
- Ensure all staff have clear objectives, regular performance feedback sessions, formal annual appraisals and individual development plans, with a particular emphasis on developing talented Saudi national staff.
- Prepare departmental reports of JEEL in a timely and accurate manner to meet JEEL and department requirements and policies and standards.
- Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
- Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.
- Minimum requirement is a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, contract management, or a related role.
