- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for fresh food to maintain optimal stock levels and deliver strong commercial performance.
- Identify new products and suppliers, ensuring consistent quality and competitive pricing.
- Lead tenders, RFQs, and supplier negotiations to secure profitable and compliant deals.
- Build and sustain supplier relationships, including risk assessments and long-term partnership planning.
- Analyze procurement and supply chain data to optimize costs and reduce shortages or overstock situations.
- Ensure suppliers meet quality, safety, and compliance requirements through audits and regular evaluations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand demand, improve category offerings, and support assortment enhancements.
- Support team development and ensure adherence to MAF Retail Human Capital policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field;
Master's degree is an advantage. - 5-7 years of experience in fresh food procurement, with 2-4 years in retail or FMCG preferred.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Advanced Excel proficiency and comfort with procurement systems.
- Fluent in English with strong cross-functional coordination abilities.
