Responsibilities
- Pursue sales leads
- Research and identify new business opportunities including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, and products
- Arrange meetings with prospective clients and conduct regular field visits
- Lead efforts to open new markets and increase market share in existing markets
- Attend industry events to increase visibility and identify new opportunities
- Monitor competitors by collecting market information on prices, new products, delivery schedules, and promotion techniques
- Submit reports pertaining to sales and marketing and business development to General Manager / Deputy General Manager
- Familiarization with product types and high-level technical knowledge vis‑a‑vis target industries and specific customer requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
- At least 8 years of experience in sales/business development, preferably in food industry
- Fluent in English and Arabic (reading, writing, speaking)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of CRM software is a plus
