Head of Verticals/ Property – Marketplace Platform

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Head of Verticals to lead the growth, performance, and expansion of key categories within our marketplace platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing category strategies, driving revenue growth, managing merchant partnerships, optimizing customer experience, and ensuring the overall success of assigned marketplace verticals

• Develop and execute growth strategies for assigned marketplace verticals and categorie
• Own the commercial performance, revenue targets, profitability, and market share of each vertical.
• Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with merchants, vendors, brands, and strategic partner.
• Identify new business opportunities, category expansions, and emerging market trends.
• Drive merchant acquisition, onboarding, retention, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Operations, Technology, and Customer Experience teams to enhance platform performance.
• Monitor key marketplace metrics including revenue, customer acquisition, conversion rates, and merchant performance.
• Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive activity to support strategic decision-making.
• Lead category planning, pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and assortment optimization
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and business plans for assigned verticals.
• Build, mentor, and lead high-performing category and commercial teams.
• Prepare executive reports and performance reviews for senior leadership.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field. MBA is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in marketplace platforms, e-commerce, digital platforms, retail, or category management.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale business verticals, categories, or commercial operations.
• Strong experience in merchant management, business development, and revenue growth.
• Deep understanding of marketplace business models, digital commerce ecosystems, and customer acquisition strategies.
• Strong analytical skills with experience utilizing data to drive business decisions.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Experience with in the Saudi Arabian market is highly preferred.
• Fluency in English is required;
  Arabic is an advantage.
