Container Logistics Senior Executive – Riyadh, KSA

Key Responsibilities Main Responsibilities
  • Manage, monitor, drive and report region level and agency level KPI, cost & performance
  • Manage intermodal network & business development, i.e. review, create & optimize network to improve intermodal performance
  • Monitor intermodal performance, develop market intelligence, identify opportunities, promote services to POL/POD
  • Collaborate with agencies, HQ intermodal to propose intermodal selling rates to maximize performance, set up & maintain rates, product catalogue and LMS maintenance
  • Procurement of land side services based on the agreed model with HQ, i.e. central led, ensuring full compliance with established policies and governance
  • Manage regional contract landscape with HQ, i.e. monitor contract expiry, propose category strategy, plan, risk management, etc.
  • Set and monitor formal performance KPI, flow-share & SLA and supplier assessment
  • Supplier onboarding, including set up agreement, EDI, LMS tariff, etc.
  • Digitalization, i.e. push container reuse/triangulation, charge customer and reuse platforms
  • Leadership and direction to agencies Logistics teams
  • Manage and collaborate with stakeholders, HQ, RO, Agencies from Operations, Commercial Trades, etc. to make business decisions in the overall best interest of company and with appropriate level of check-and-balance

  • Detail-oriented with strong ownership mindset
  • Results-driven and able to handle high operational pressure / multitasking
  • Team player, with strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
Qualification & Experience Required
  • Education:

    Diploma/Degree Holder, University qualification in Management or equivalent preferred
  • Experiences: A minimum of 2 years’ multiple discipline experience in equipment management, intermodal, procurement, inventory or operations management
Professional Skill Sets
  • Well versed in cost management and analytics
  • Familiar in shipping network, market trends, capacity control, cargo-flow, terminal operations and land operations
  • Adept in data-driven analytics and decision-making process in a high pace high stress environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skill, able to manage cultural diversity
