Key Accounts Manager – Direct Seller Recruiting
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Key Accounts Manager to manage the recruiting and development of strategic selling partners on Amazon. The role drives selling partner growth and satisfaction by delivering strategic insights and high operational standards.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 5+ years of sales or marketing experience in e‑commerce, retail technology, or SaaS.
- Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions‑focused approach.
- Strong ability to influence all levels within an organization, including execs.
- Proven success in recruiting and growing high‑potential strategic merchants.
- Excellent communication, data analysis, and relationship‑building skills.
- Identify, prospect and recruit high‑potential strategic merchants to Amazon.
- Prioritize and lead a pipeline of sellers to consistently meet or exceed quarterly targets.
- Provide data‑driven insights and advice to optimize seller success on Amazon.
- Educate sellers on Amazon’s delivery and customer experience standards.
- Enable sellers to master Amazon’s tools and systems for effective catalog, inventory, and performance management.
- Analyze category trends, popular brands, seasonal items, and pricing to tailor pitch and advice.
- Track and report business development results, analyze data, and interpret portfolio reports.
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve business input metrics and end‑customer experience in collaboration with other Amazon programs and teams.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure timely, accurate, and professional operational support to all selling partners.
- Build strong relationships with selling partners, proactively develop joint business plans, and act as escalation point for outstanding issues.
- Monitor seller satisfaction survey results and feedback trends to establish improvement plans and manage expectations.
- Support process improvement by identifying, quantifying, and defining feature enhancements and new products based on customer feedback.
- Lead and participate in strategic planning and document development across the organization.
- Collaborate with external teams such as Category Management, Finance, Global Account Management, and Central Support to align initiatives to drive growth.
- Lead recruiting and hiring efforts across the direct team and broader organization.
