The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing and managing new business opportunities to drive organizational growth and revenue. The role focuses on market analysis, client acquisition, strategic partnerships, and proposal development while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders to support long-term business objectives.
Core Responsibilities Business Development & Growth- Identify new business opportunities, markets, and revenue streams aligned with the company's strategy.
- Develop and implement business development plans to achieve growth targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Lead client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure new business.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and industry trend assessments.
- Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead the preparation of proposals, bids, and commercial offers in coordination with internal teams.
- Ensure proposals meet client requirements, commercial objectives, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Finance, Legal) to support deal structuring and execution.
- Ensure smooth handover of secured projects to relevant teams.
- Monitor business development performance, pipeline activity, and revenue forecasts.
- Prepare reports and updates for senior management on business development progress.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Proven experience in developing and securing new business opportunities.
- Experience working with client negotiations, contracts, and commercial discussions.
- Exposure to market analysis, strategic planning, and revenue growth initiatives.
- Experience coordinating with cross-functional internal teams.
- Familiarity with structured sales pipelines, CRM systems, or bid management processes.
- Strong business development and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management abilities.
- Strategic thinking and analytical mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities simultaneously.
- Translation skills.
