Last Mile Logistics, Sr. Account Manager

Role Overview

In this role you will serve an equal parts advisor and operating partner for our Delivery Partner Managers (DSPs), helping logistics supply chain managers and business owners build and grow successful middle-mile businesses during a transformational time.

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or Marketing.
• Master of Business Administration (MBA) – preferred.
• 5 years of team management experience.
• 8 years of management or 8 years of people management experience.
• 7+ years of account or relationship management, small business logistics, or retail/vendor/supplier management experience.

• Manage the DSP relationship across the entire lifecycle of the business, serving as a trusted advisor and operating partner.
• Lead a team of 6 managers overseeing 80 DSP accounts in Amazon’s quick commerce business (15min and 2H delivery) across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Assist and guide DSPs and logistics supply chain managers to build and grow successful middle-mile businesses during a transformational time.
• Work closely with a portfolio of owners at different stages to set strategy, drive accountability and engagement, and track key performance metrics.
• Collaborate with Program Managers, Compliance, and Finance personnel to ensure owners launch and scale their business in compliance with program requirements.
• Support owners by removing obstacles and improving financial, operational, and safety practices at the network level.
• Analyze problems, discover insights, deliver recommendations, and drive change both internally and externally.
• Collaborate with a wide array of integrated internal stakeholders such as Partner Relations, PAR, VAS, Legal, fleet and network health, OTR teams, and product strategy.
• Facilitate and execute Monitoring and Enforcement Policies (MEP) and build two-way feedback channels with OTR teams, DSPs, and other stakeholders.
• Work flexibly and travel between multiple sites to engage with business owners on a weekly basis.
• Partner with OTR Safety and OTR Regional Managers to ensure business safety compliance.
• Guide owners as they scale their business and manage operational issues, ensuring resources are in place to ramp‑up for peak periods.
• Support onboarding to the program for new launches and coach upskilling and utilization of AMZL tools.
• Deep‑dive to identify customer metric improvement opportunities and champion consistent application of Last Mile processes within Delivery Stations.
• Challenge UTR processes that impact OTR performance and coach business owners to run compliant, safe, and high‑performing companies.
• Identify workflow inefficiencies, formulate and implement operational improvements at the network level, and improve the individual DSP owner experience.
• Develop the relationship between Amazon and DSP partners, improve DSP sentiment, and align communication with DSP business owners.
• Represent DSPs within the AMZL business and be their voice.
• Improve driver standards to protect brand image.
• Work with DSPs to deliver effective ramp plans and pipeline goals, ensuring driver supply meets peak volume demands.
