Manager, Sales and Business Development (Oil & Gas) Job Purpose
The Manager, Sales and Business Development is responsible for driving revenue growth, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding the company’s presence within the Oil & Gas sector. The role focuses on developing strategic client relationships, managing the sales pipeline, and leading business development initiatives to achieve organizational growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities Business Development- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Lead the sales process from opportunity identification through contract award.
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets.
- Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals, presentations, and bid submissions.
- Negotiate commercial terms and support contract finalization.
- Establish long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Provide insights on customer requirements, industry developments, and competitive positioning.
- Support the development of annual sales plans and business growth strategies.
- Coordinate with operations, engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure successful service delivery.
- Support cross-functional teams during tendering and project execution phases.
- Mentor and guide junior sales and business development professionals where applicable.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance updates.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure achievement of sales objectives.
