Position: Manager, Sales and Business Development (Oil & Gas)

Manager, Sales and Business Development (Oil & Gas) Job Purpose

The Manager, Sales and Business Development is responsible for driving revenue growth, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding the company’s presence within the Oil & Gas sector. The role focuses on developing strategic client relationships, managing the sales pipeline, and leading business development initiatives to achieve organizational growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities Business Development
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
  • Lead the sales process from opportunity identification through contract award.
  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets.
  • Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals, presentations, and bid submissions.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and support contract finalization.
Client Relationship Management
  • Establish long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Provide insights on customer requirements, industry developments, and competitive positioning.
  • Support the development of annual sales plans and business growth strategies.
  • Coordinate with operations, engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure successful service delivery.
  • Support cross-functional teams during tendering and project execution phases.
  • Mentor and guide junior sales and business development professionals where applicable.
Reporting
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance updates.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure achievement of sales objectives.
