International Business Development Director –
Middle East

About the Opportunit

Our client is a globally recognized architecture and urban design practice, renowned for delivering iconic, high-profile projects across multiple continents. To support its ambitious growth strategy in the Middle East, we are seeking an experienced International Business Development Director based in Riyadh to drive business expansion across the region, with a particular focus on Saudi Arabia

.Key Responsibilitie
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across the Middle East
  • Developing and securing prestigious projects across high-rise, luxury residential, hospitality, commercial, cultural, and large-scale urban development sectors
  • Build and maintain relationships with government entities, developers, investors, and key decision-makers
  • Monitor market trends and identify emerging opportunities within the region
  • Lead business development initiatives and support the preparation of proposals and bids
  • Selectively participate in major architectural competitions while prioritizing direct business generation
  • Develop strategic partnerships with consultants, engineering firms, and local stakeholders
  • Coordinate with technical and design teams to ensure commercial opportunities are effectively pursued
  • Represent the practice at industry events, conferences, and networking forums
.Educatio n
  • Degree in Architecture (mandatory)
  • Additional qualifications in Business, Communications, Public Affairs, or related fields would be highly advantageous
.Experienc e
  • Minimum 15 years of international business development experience
  • Proven track record in architecture, real estate, urban development, construction, or related industries
  • Strong network of contacts and decision-makers within the Middle East
  • Deep understanding of international architectural procurement processes and design competitions
  • Demonstrated success in originating and winning significant projects
  • Strategic thinker capable of building and executing long-term growth plans
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Fluent English is essential while Arabic is mandatory
  • French would be considered a strong advantage
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the region
