The Sales Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing sales performance, customer trends, and business data to support strategic decision-making. The role works closely with Sales, Commercial, Finance, and Management teams to provide insights that improve sales effectiveness, optimize product performance, and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze sales performance across customers, channels, regions, and product categories.
- Monitor key sales KPIs and identify trends, opportunities, and performance gaps.
- Evaluate sales initiatives, promotions, and pricing activities.
- Provide recommendations to improve sales performance and profitability.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and dashboards.
- Develop and maintain reports using Excel, Power BI, and other reporting tools.
- Present actionable insights to Sales and Management teams.
- Support business reviews with data-driven analysis.
- Extract, validate, and reconcile data from ERP and operational systems.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of sales and customer data.
- Identify and resolve reporting discrepancies.
- Support sales forecasting, budgeting, and planning activities.
- Analyze customer purchasing behavior and product performance.
- Support commercial teams with ad-hoc analysis and business recommendations.
- Identify growth opportunities and areas for operational improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
ExperienceMinimum 6 years of experience in Sales Data Analysis, Commercial Analysis, or Business Intelligence within FMCG, Food Manufacturing, Distribution, or Retail industries.
Technical Skills- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong experience with Power BI or similar BI tools.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
