Position: Procurement Specialist - MRO/spares procurement within mining.

Procurement Specialist – Mining Industry

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to support end‑to‑end procurement and contract management activities for a leading mining industry client. This is a fully on‑site, full‑time role at remote project sites in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full procurement cycle from purchase request to purchase order issuance.
  • Prepare RFQs, RFPs and coordinate tendering processes.
  • Evaluate technical and commercial proposals.
  • Prepare procurement recommendations and award documentation.
  • Draft and review contracts, amendments and change orders.
  • Handle supplier communication and negotiations.
  • Monitor contract performance and deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and delegation of authority.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Legal and end‑user departments.
  • Maintain procurement trackers and reporting tools.
Contract Details

Minimum 12‑month contract, renewable based on performance and business needs. On‑site deployment at remote client locations.

Required Experience
  • 3–7 years of experience in procurement and contracts.
  • Background in MRO/spares procurement within mining, oil & gas, or petrochemical sectors.
  • Experience in operational procurement preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering certification is an advantage.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Law, Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement governance, tendering, and contract management.
  • Understanding of Incoterms and financial/commercial evaluation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and procurement tracking tools.
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
